We were able to take a “behind the scenes” walk though at the Baxter build this month (March 2019). We are really making some amazing and EXCITING progress! It’s amazing to see what was just something we talked about and planned for truly come to fruition. We can officially see the structure of the internal rooms, kitchen, main entrance and most amazing….our rooftop deck! Wow! what a view!
We can imagine residents sitting up there enjoying the morning and watching the sunrise come over the Chugach Mountains. It’s such a site as it is, and once fully built and furnished we can’t wait to provide this beautiful area of peacefulness to our residents.
The project has had such amazing leadership and management and truly comes from the desire to give Alaskans an experience that they can feel comfortable and at home in. The Baxter area and community has been overwhelmingly welcome to our build process and we can’t wait to officially be a part of the neighborhood!
We have been busy filling our management team and looking forward soon to officially staffing Baxter. The time is coming quickly that our walls will be filled with laughter, memories and moments we can enjoy together. So thank you for all that have participated in our build and getting the wheels of Baxter rolling! We are getting there and you have all been a part of our progress every step of the way.
